SUMMARY:Art of Batik Class
DESCRIPTION:Learn the ancient art of Batik!  This is a was-resist and dye process usually done on cloth.  We will experiment with wax application techniques on cotton and oriental papers.  Basic color and mixing dyes for dye baths\, and wax removal methods will also be covered.  Students should complete 2-3 small Batiks in the 3 day workshop.\n \nNo art experience needed.   Please wear old clothes or bring an apron and gloves.\n \nInstructor:\nBetsy Hall Harrison\n \nFee:\n$125 for members; $155 for non members (and $20 material fee payable to instructor)
