SUMMARY:In Person Beginners and Beyond Watercolor Class & Workshop
DESCRIPTION:January 10-11-12. Local Winter Landscapes\, Night Forest\, Rural down-the-Road scene. In our winter painting\, along with the basic technique\, we focus on distant ground\, mid ground and fore ground levels to provide depth to our work. We will start with a light wash of color\, come in wet-on-wet with mid tones of color and finish with strong values and more intense colors. Slowly building our landscape that will give it individual expressiveness and mood.\nBeginners and Beyond Class\, helping individuals advance in their watercolor painting abilities\, use their expressive creativity\, and grow in the usage of many techniques. Each class will focus on specific techniques to bring your creativity to a heightened level. We start class on Monday\, setting up our paint set at 9; 30. The main demo is from 10-11. After the demo beginners will be given instruction on basic watercolor techniques and color mixing while more advanced students initiate their paintings. Many students bring a bag lunch so as to have more time to work on their paintings. At the end of each day we will have a short critique of our finished work. Dress in layers as temperature in the classroom varies. For everyone’s health we will be following Covid guide lines from the State of Maryland.\n\n \n$95 members\, $119 non-members.
