SUMMARY:In Person: The Art of Photography Class with Tom Kennedy
DESCRIPTION:If you are new to photography or would like to take your present skills to the next level\, this class is for you.  If you’re new to digital photography\, concerned that your camera is not good enough\, or you don’t own a camera\, there’s no need to worry. Students will learn and understand how professional photographers shoot great panoramas\, portraits and action photos. This workshop will cover topics ranging from unique photo composition to using various existing lighting\, aperture\, shutter speed and ISO.  This class will also include various intermediate techniques\, use of the controls and modes on most DSLR cameras and lenses\, selecting the right lenses and when to use them as well as a photographer’s basic equipment (flashes\, tripods\, memory cards\, software\, filters etc.) and their use. We will end the workshop with a review of the use of popular editing software\, and iPhone and iPad editing techniques. Students are encouraged to bring their cameras\, iPads and iPhones to class; however\, cameras are not required. No experience is necessary. \n\n$35 members\, $44 non members
