ArtX Art & Music Festival

The Town of Ocean City, MD and the Art League of Ocean City present the art and cultural event focusing on Artistic Xpression. ArtX, transforms the 58-acre Northside Park and its bayside lagoon into a coastal stage to Xperience an assortment of artistic mediums.
Throughout the weekend, as you wander the beautiful environment, try your hand at one of the many interactive activities for all ages, including drawing and painting. Create your own masterpiece when you sign up for a workshop. Check out the ‘ArtX Fun Field” with photo spots, big games, inflatables and free art activities.
Sip on your favorite libation as beer and wine are available for purchase and enjoy local cuisine provided by some of the Eastern Shore’s favorite Food Trucks.
Enjoy listening to a variety of up and coming performers as you stroll throughout the park. Peruse the walkways, where these talented artisans show and sell their exceptional hand-made art. Shop for unique gifts, jewelry, home décor and so much more. There is so much to Xperience at ArtX.
Free Art Experiences like painting, drawing and design offered inside and outside. Many different options for all ages to make and take home a masterpiece of your own.
Chalk Art Contest – Transform a square of pavement into an original work of art
Geocaching Challenge – Search throughout the park for hidden boxes to decode a secret message
Author’s Row – Meet local artists and illustrators
Quick Paint Challenge – Watch artists paint against the clock around the picturesque Northside Park followed by outdoor judging and wet paint sale
Salisbury University Sculpture Walk – Enjoy an open-air exhibition featuring sculptures by the Salisbury University Sculpture Department. See artwork inspired by the warmth and celebratory aspects of late summer, the beach and Ocean City, the ephemeral nature of these experiences and the passage of time as it affects us all.
Ocean City Film Festival -Showings will be available of original works and contest winners.
